I use wooden boxes - cigar boxes and ones found at craft stores and a chipboard memory book and decorate them to match using rubber stamps, pretty papers, ribbon, pearls (faux) die cuts and other pretty findings.
I have done a lot in the gold/white/black traditional wedding colors but have also done a few for friends and family to match the colors, flowers and/or theme of their own weddings - and in the case of the personalized ones, I usually put the announcement card on the inside lid of the box.
Towards the bottom are more wedding/anniversary cards and a few glass wedding charms/Christmas ornaments that I did also.
