Hallo,
Just dropping in today to show you an encaustic wax painting I did recently.
It measures 16 inches wide by 20 inches tall and it is painted onto a cradled wood panel that is about 1.5 inches thick.
The gold you see in the gold spots and some of the swirls underneath is a gold mica powder that I added into the wax and then a gold R&F paint stick
This painting started out 380 degrees different and I didn't like it so I just remelted and did a shellac layer and then started playing with the mica powder and the paint sticks.
All for today - should clean house or do my knee exercises but really just feel like sitting on the patio with a good book, so that's what I am going to do.....
Take Care
Tera
