Copper mermaid

Hallo,
A couple months ago I played around with doing some acrylic pour paintings. I really liked the colors in this one and decided to add this wonderful mermaid image to it.
This mermaid is a digital image from Holly Durr and I colored her with prismacolor pencils and added her to the painting along with some seashells and a little fish.
She is looking for a home too BTW - she is up on my Etsy shop - www.stampqueen.etsy.com
   Have a great day!!!

Paint pour session....

Hallo,
A big batch of paint pour paintings to show you today - some of these may get float frames eventually and one or two may have some seashells and mermaids added to them, so will show you those again as I finish them off.
A couple of them I spray painted the canvas either gold or black as a base - the gold ones I like because the gold kinda reminds me of sand. I don't like the black based ones as much.
My favorite of this bunch are the 2 last ones - the purple one and the blues and copper one - those 2 will defiantly get frames, eventually.....
All for now - Take Care

Red and black paint pour

Hallo,
Another red themed paint pour today - this one is also entered into the latest show at our local Art gallery (ADSO).
Amazing what different results you can get from using the same colors of paint - yesterdays and todays are from the same batch.

Red's paint pour

Hallo,
Well I hadn't intended to jump on the paint pour bandwagon but I had to admit it looked like fun.....bought a few supplies and once they are used up then I have determined to be done.....with all my other artish addictions there isn't much room for storage of either supplies or paintings in my studio space.....
I did a big batch of reds in my first paint pour session because of the current show at our local Art gallery - ADSO and this is one of 2 paint pour paintings I entered, along with 2 in cold wax and oils.
I framed this one and one other in float frames and they look really nice that way so may have to frame a couple more of them that way.
All for today - off to work(helps pay for art supplies ya know...)
