Hallo,

Another set  of these sweet little singing elves from Mo Manning. They are so quick and easy to color. Colored with prismacolor pencils, the panel is edged with silver krylon pen and I used silver pearl drops for the corners and some silver cardstock for the Merry Christmas die( Top Dog Dies )

Mommy to be....

 Hallo,
Well today is my first day of just over 2 weeks off work!!! YIPPPEEE!!!! I took some vacation time around Graduation for my DS - family starts arriving a couple days before and some are staying for several days after and I allowed myself a couple days on either side of that just to run errands, clean house and - RELAX :) DD leaves for a month in Montenegro with ROTC the Sunday after graduation  so this gives us some extra time too :)
My card today is for the current challenge over at Mo's Digital Challenge blog - here - http://mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com/
The challenge is for 'new beginnings' - new baby fits that just right I think :)
I used a digital image from Mo Manning of course and colored her with prismacolor pencils. I used matching DP and ribbons, a couple paper flowers and some gold pearls done with a viva décor pen.
Its a rainy day here today - so after a few errands this am I have spent some really nice rainy day time in my craft room :) - although the weather has made it difficult to get some pics of my projects :)
   Have a great day!!!

Thanks

 Hallo,
Just a quick post this afternoon as I get ready to head off to work.
I made this card to send to my Vet and his assistant. They were so sweet last week when I had to bring them my sweet old aussie for the last time. My old pooch was constantly hurting and it got to the point where the pain pills were not helping even a little bit anymore.
This is a digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil and colored with colored pencils - I colored the pooch to match my sweet ol boy, even if the breed doesn't match :) I even colored the collar purple like my old boys....
It just so happens that the challenge over at Mo's blog this week is for distressing - I did a bit of distressing along the edges of the main image!!!

All for me today - off to work....

Howling Drums

 Hallo,
It has been a busy week and I have errands to run and a Doctors appointment this afternoon so I had better get this done early :).
I colored this sweetie last night sitting on the couch. The image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and is colored with copics. I did him up for the current challenge over at Mo's blog which is " in the doghouse - something with a dog or someone who is in trouble"
Even though Mo has several very cute 'terrrible twos' images I decided to do a Christmas card - I have been trying to do at least several each month since right after Christmas last year and didn't get that many done this month yet....
Check out the challenge here - www.mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com
All for today - I am off and running :)

Discover

Hallo,
Well I can finally say that I think this allergic reaction thing has turned a corner - 8pm thusday night - 3 days of wanting to claw my skin off (now I am just itchy-and parts of the rash are starting to have tiny blisters and dry out like a peeling
sunburn - very attractive - is that all that a bit TMI??)
I called this am for a clinic appointment but couldn't get one till about 1 in the afternoon - by the time I got there there my face was swollen, red and I was very red on my neck and arms too - the P.A. took one look and just said 'WOW' - so needless to say she put me on a round of steroids and I can already feel a difference - although I am still taking both the anti-itch medicines and therefore still groggy/loopy - so if this post gets silly you know why. :)
OK  - lucky I had a few images colored  and  saved up because I  haven't been able to focus on anything very long .
I used an image from Mo's Digital pencil - colored with prismacolor pencils.  A really simple layout - main image and the next layer both cut with a Spellbinders label die - the second layer is the same red as on the pail and there is a touch of that red on the sailboats on his hat too.
I am entering him in this weeks challenge over at Mo's which is anything goes...  www.mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com

All for today!!! I am off to bed as I can feel the benadryl kicking in and maybe it will last long enough for me to get more than an hour sleep tonight :)

Hello

 Hall,
Just a quick card for today!!!
The challenge over at Mo's this weeks is Anything goes so I dug out this image I had colored up for awhile now.
I love the look on this gals face and this time I colored her with a little bit of fancy make-up.
I colored this Mo's image with prismacolor pencils and cut her out with a Spellbinders labels die and edged it with gold mettalic pen.
The paper ribbon below the Hello is a new Accucut die by my friend Vicki :) - very cute and simple to put together (great for bow tying inepts like myself :)

Sunshine

 Hallo,
House cleaning and errands to do today I managed to get some stamping done yesterday afternoon :)
I did this card for the current challenge over at Mo's Digital pencil - www.mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com
The challenge this time was for something weather related and living in NW Florida the weather is usually SUNSHINE :)
The main image is from Mo's colored with colored pencils and the phrase is from Flourishes.
(You have seen this image before - colored the same way - I had someone that wanted party invitations and then decided she didn't want  them after all and I already had about 10 of this sweet little guy colored up - so you will be seeing him again  :)
All for today - gotta get a move on!!!

Take Time

Hallo,

Just a quick post and a quick card.

I already had this image colored up (someone at a craft fair asked for a bunch of showers cards with this image but them never called back - teach me for trying to work ahead...)

But it worked out great for me today - the challenge over at Mo's this week is for sentiments.

It is colored with prismacolor pencils and both the main image, the sentiment and the next layer are cut with Spellbinders dies.

I added some blue 'pearls' in the corners with a tulip fabric paint pen..

Mo's Bingo

Hallo,

A quick post this am - finished this card off yesterday evening and took a couple pics when I got home from work, and here I am to hello and goodnight :)

I did this card for the current challenge over at Mo's - www.mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com

The challenge today was Bingo - and the row I chose was die cuts, dry embossing and brads.

I used a Spellbinder die cut for behind the main image and used a texture folder on both the die cut and the background (the background was sanded to reveal the white core) and the little buttons are actually brads.

The main image is of course from Mo's and is colored with prismacolor pencils.

I used some dimensional fabric paint from Tulip for the corner accents.

All for this am - off to sleep and then up early to catch my DD's softball game (if its not raining...) and back to work tonight.....

Grumpy stitches

Hallo,
A quick card for you today - I am taking a lazy day here at my house, no yard work for me today (my knees told me in no uncertain terms to take the day off - I will give it a try tomorrow morning if its not raining anyway...)
I had this Mo's image colored up for awhile and so that made this a very quick card - I used a backgrounder from CHF for my stitches to fit this weeks challenge over at Mo's.
The Mo's image - cute little grump isn't she :) - is colored with prismacolor pencils.
Check out the challenge here - www.mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com
I just love my backgrounder stamps - they go with anything and any other company!!!
I have lots of backgrounder stamps - mostly from Cornish Heritage Farms as this one is but I also have a few from Impression Obsession, Stampin' Up, and Flourishes too.
All from me today - I stamped up a few images to color this afternoon and I have a good book I am reading too (a couple books I am reading actually but 2 are learning reading not fun reading :)

Cloud Angel

Hallo,
Just a quick little post this am, as I am meeting my Chief Enabler and we are going to explore some thrift shops and antigue shops :) and then some lunch :).
I did this card for the current challenge over at Mo's which is for CAS . Check it out here - http://www.mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com/
I colored up this sweet image with prismacolor pencils and cut him out with a Spellbinders die and edged the die with a silver mettalic pen.
I layered him to another Spellbinders die cut from silver mettalic paper and then to the white cardbase. I added some sparkly dots in white - by tulip (found it with the fabric painting stuff - its a dimensional paint in a bottle and works great on paper :).
All for today.

Mo's puppy angel

Hallo,
Just a quick card to show you this am - we are going out of town tomorrow for a couple days and I still need to pack and get a couple gift cards made :)
This sweet image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and is colored with prismacolor pencils. Isn't she sweet!!!! Mo has another one like it with a kitty that is just as sweet!!
Its a pretty simple little card - just a couple layers of DP - main layer and next cut with a Spellbinders labels die, and some liquid 'beads in a bottle' from tulip for accents, oh yes and a bit of gold mettalic pen edging the layers....
All for now - pretty chilly here in NW Florida again this am.....

The Great Outdoors

Hallo,
Quick post tonight - spent a good amount of the day today in my craft room. Got a few ornaments done and working on the boxes I am making for the nieces and nephews.....
I am posting this for the current challenge over at Mo's blog - here - www.mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com
The challenge this time is for 'the great outdoors'
I covered this 6-pack drink holder to use as a gift box and used Mo's fisherman for the box and one of the tags. The imahes are colored with copics - except the sunset was colored with prismacolor pencils.
The background paper is a brown coredinations paper run through a wood grain texture folder. Then I added a fishermans tied fly for decoration on the box bottom edge and on the tags.
All for tonight - need to get my Christmas boxes done to send off the begining of the week...

Snowball Hi

Hallo,
A quick little post - managed to get this card done just in time if I type fast :).
I did this card for the current challenge over at Mo's blog which was for "winter" Check it out here - http://www.mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com/
I love this Mo's image - hiding the snowball, just like something my DS would do if we ever had snow (only once in 12 years have I seen snow in our area of Florida).
I colored him with prismacolor pencils.
I didn't get much stamping time today - the kids and I did some house cleaning (we have company for Turkey dinner on saturday and I am scheduled to work wednesday and thursday nights...), we made an early morning trip to Wal-mart to find some clothes for my DD and then the kids and I met my DH for lunch, then I got 2 pies made and finished off a couple cards (including this one ) that were in the works on my craft table.
All for now - gotta get him linked and try to get a nap as I work tonight (wednesday night - am backposting :).

Fall Favorite

Hallo,
Pre-posting for today - back to work after over 10 days off is tough!!!!
I made this card for the current challenge over at Mo's blog for favorite Mo's image with a sentiment. Well choosing a favorite is darn near impossible but this one is one of my favorites for fall so that will have to do.
Check out the challenge and all the inspiration from the DT here - www.mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com
I colored this cutie with prismacolor pencils and cut the layers with Spellbinders dies.
I put the 2 main layers onto some coredinations paper. I used a brown with orange core from coredinations and ran it through a pumpkin texture folder and then sanded off the show the orange. I also distressed the edges a bit an rolled 2 of the corners.
I used a label maker to make the phrase - just cause.....

All for now - work, sleep, work - it will be a busy week for me - I am off wednesday and will sleep half the day and then I teach all day on thursday and work again friday night.....which reminds me, I need to look up which parts I am teaching this time (so I can review my schtuff so I don't sound like a schmuck.... :)

Dappled Friend

Hallo,
Just a quick post for today and then I am off to get ready for work.....
I did this card for the current challenge over at Mo's for 'furry friends' (horses really aren't furry per say but close enough...)
Check out the challenge here - www.mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com

This image is from Mo's of course and colored up with my copics.
I am a horse lover from waaayyyy back and have always loved a dappled horse :) (or spotted, or a bay, or black, or white or palamino.....welll you get the idea :)
I layered the main image to another from the same die set cut from brown paper and ran through a wood texture folder and highlighted with brown ink to bring out the texture a bit more.
I used a gray card base to match the horse and then used some copper liquid beads to frame the frames.
The phrse is from Stampin Up and embossed in copper - then I used a brown sharpie to line right under it to accent it a bit more.

Boy Attitude

Hallo,
Well it looks like the nice cool mornings are wearing off for the time being here in NW Florida - not too hot yet but warmer than we have been for the last week or so (I was sooo enjoying it!!).
A quick card for you before I head off to sleep for the day....This one for this weeks challenge over at Mo's for 'boy attitude'. This little guy sure seems to be showing some attitude :)
Check out the challenge and all the inspiration from the DT here - http://www.mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com/

I don't have anyone in mind for this card just yet so I left a space that I could add a sentiment later.

I colored him with my copics, cut him out with a SPellbinders die and edged the die with a copper mettalic pen. Then I used copper liquid beads to go around the die and the background dies edge.

Another beautiful day here in NW Florida - the cooler weather is so wonderful!!! Went for a walk this am before getting a bit of sleep.
Went pretty much straight to the craft room when I got up :) I did take DS out driving on the stick shift for some practice today (can you say sore neck :)....
Todays card was done for the current challenge over at Mo's which is a sketch. Check it out here - www.mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com
This little cutie is colored with prismacolor pencils and cut out with a Spellbinders die as were the leaves.
All for today - should try to study a bit tonight for a test I plan to take next month....
