Back to baby boxes

 Hallo,
Finished off this baby gift box, memory book and card yesterday - just in time as my great-nephew Ryker was born yesterday afternoon (just in time to take in his first Husker game!!!)
I haven't done one of these for awhile and I have 2 more in the works, and a wedding one to do too.
Bust day today so far - went for a walk with the pups and then took the big kayak out just the Hubby and I - a bit cooler here the last couple mornings but it ramps up pretty quick.
It was a great morning to be out on the water, not much for waves in our part of the bay and we had a nice breeze that we used for our return trip.
I also made a quick trip to the studio to get another layer on a couple cold wax pieces that I am doing and now back at home and headed into the craft room.
All for now - Take Care

Sweet Baby

Hallo,
Just a quick post as I get up and moving for the day after working last night.
A quick card today using the same colors and papers from the last baby box but used the coral red cardstock for the base  in addition to the frame - for a bit of a different look.
The main image is from My Favorite things and is colored with prismacolor pencils.
Off and running - my house needs to be cleaned.....

Zebra Baby

Hallo,
Not sure if I will get time to post later so a quick one now :) I have a long list of errands to get done and hope to squeeze in some craft time too.....
I took my puppy for a short card ride and a long walk in the woods this am and she loved every minute and would have probably walked alot longer if I would have ahd time.
We walked for an hour. She is getting better in the car and I am hoping by taking her for walks in the woods via the car she will get to like the car ride better knowing she gets to explore in the woods.
I did this card to match the baby box for my DH's niece that is having a baby in a couple weeks. The theme for her baby room is Zebra's and as you might have guessed, they are expecting a little girl.
The stamp is from old Cornish Heritage Farms - haven't seen it up on the new store yet but I am sure it will be in time. I loved coloring the baby pink - made me smile.
Well better get in gear ....

Beautiful Babe - pink

Hallo,
I am planning on getting some stamping done today but the weather is murky and rainy so any pics I take will be yukky....so I will pull another baby card from the pile I made the other day with this new set from My Favorite Things - LOVE IT!!!!!
I used last weeks WSC from MFT along with the new set and the paper pack that came with the VIP kit....
I paper pieced her shirt and colored the rest with copics.
The pink rhinestones are from the VIP kit also.....flower is from my Secret Sister at Christmas time - Thanks Janice :). Ribbon is from my stash.
Well I had better get out of my PJ's and get for a walk before the rain sets in - damp and very cold this am, it will be a fast walking day!!!!
Later this am I am picking my DD up from school and taking her to get her DRIVERS LISCENSE!!!!! AAaaakkk - she turned 16 last saturday and as of today has had her learners permit 1 year and is eligeble for the DL.....I will take her to lunch and then back to school for the rest of the day.....
All for now - have a great day!!!!

Pink Precious One

Hallo,
And welcome to Monday morning :)
I am just getting home from work and will try to get this up before I get sleepy - if things get a bit wonky you'll know why :)
Another new stamp set for me from My Favorite Things - its from the newest release due to be released on Tuesday Febr. 1st. (tomorrow :)
I got this months VIP package a couple days ago and pulled it out to play with over the weekend. I used the sweet paper pack that came with the VIP package again, and again I did some paper piecing - this time only her shirt.
The rest of the main image is colored with copics.
The frame was made by cutting out 5 tags out of the pink cardstock and arranging them behind the main image.
The rhinestones were colored to match with a matching pink copic.
I again followed this weeks sketch from MFT.
All for me today - off to sleep and back to work for one more night.....
Take Care
