Birthday Fairy

Hallo,
Having some fun today with this fairy stamp from Stamps Happen. You can find this stamp and alot of other cool stamps here - http://www.janlynn.com/
You REALLY need to check them out - they have a ton of great stamps!!!! I have a couple stamps from their Fairies, a couple David Morgan's, and almost my favorite Easter stamp you saw last week with the little bluebird popping out of the egg.
I only used part of the stamp - I love this little boy fairy!!!
The fairy is colored with prismacolor pencils and cut out with my nesties in my cuttlebug. I stamped the image twice and colored the leaf and wings and cut them out, layering them up on top of the nestie layer.
The backround is also done with my cuttlebug - I gently ran my walnut stain ink pad over the embossed parts.
The phrase is from Stampin Up.

CPS Kings

Hallo,
I was doing some cleaning in my craft room and came across some Christmas paper so decided to pull out some Christmas stamps for this weeks CPS Sketch.
All the stamps are from Cornish Heritage Farms and you can find them here - www.cornishheritagefarms.com
The 3 Kings are inked with distress china blue and kissed with one of the stamps from the 'Beautiful' set inked with walnut stain distress. The phrase is from the 'Christmas expressions' set.



I used light blue for the main panel in the first one and kraft cardstock for the main panel in the second. The DP is Figgy Pudding.

Coffee with Friends

Hallo,
A couple cards to show you today - matching the jars from yesterdays post.
I used stamps from 2 coffee sets - 'Flourishes' and 'Gina K'.
I also used some of my nesties for the layers and some plain flowers - altered to match with glimmer mist.
The coffee cups at the bottom of the cards are colored with prismacolor pencils.

Java Jars

Hallo,
I had a little time this weekend for crafting between games of monopoly - friday and saturday.
Mom still dominates the Monopoly 2-1 :)
Finished off 3 more jars - all with a coffee theme.
I used stamps from 2 different coffee sets - one from 'Flourishes' and one from 'Gina K'.
I glass etched the jars by using the embossed images as a resist and then decorated the tags to match.
I work today so am preposting...
All for today - more coffee theme for tomorrow.

Fiery Blue Bottle

Off work today - Ahhhhh.....

Took 2 of my critters to their annual vet check up - accually my old cat hadn't been in a couple years(our vet uses 3 year vaccines...) My old cat - she's 18 !!!yes 18!!! - is sooo easy to get to the vet, she sits on my shoulder in the car and loves on my vet and his vet tech/secretary and purrs (unlike the 'demon kittens' whom we had to give anaesthsia to just to get them examined and shots). My old mutt usually loves the vet and he is easy too - he was a little nervous today due to the last time he was to the vet 2 months ago he was in ALOT of pain - but he still was such a good boy. It sure doesn't take long to rack up a bill for 2 critters - my vet didn't even give all the normal shots to my sweet old cat (too thin and not wanting to risk it with her being as old as she is...)

ANYWAY - on to todays project, another glass etched bottle. I used the 'Fiery Floral' scrapbook from Cornish Heritage Farms again - you can find it here - http://www.cornishheritagefarms.com/ .

This jar is a triangle shaped one - I will have both jars up on the Etsy shop by the end of the day....








































The tags were also done with the 'Fiery Floral' scarpblock, distress inks and glimmer mist.

I also did a little 'extreme cuttleing' on cardstock for the tags too - took the cardstock and ran it through 4 different folders - inking to highlight, and flattening between each layer with my bone folder before moving on to the next folder. I first saw this done here - www.libbysscrapz.blogspot.com - although hers looked much better than mine :).
All for today - the kids have decided that we have to play a rematch of the Monopoly game that I so decisively won earlier in the week...... As of today I now officially have 2 teenagers in the house - yikes - wish me luck :-) LOL.

Fiery Blue SFYTT

Another short post - got home from work late (as I often do - 12 hour shift becomes 13/14 quite often these days...)
Used this weeks SFYTT - you can find it here - www.iheart2stamp.com.
For the back layer I stamped the 'Fiery floral' scrapblock from Cornish Heritage Farms with distress china blue onto white cardstock and edged it with tea dye distress ink. You can find the great scrapblock here - www.cornishheritagefarms.com
The main layer is the same scrapblock stamped onto DP. The phrase is from Gina K - www.ginakdesigns.com
The inchies are pieces left over from the card a couple days ago - stamped/embossed with walnut stain distress ink and sprayed with glimmer mist. I cut the scraps to inchie size and edged them with gold krylon.
The other layer you see in there is a cuttlebug layer that was cuttled, inked, flattened and cuttled again with a different folder, inked, flattened again - for a total of 2 folders. I have seen some cool results with this technique but need more practice as I wasn't too impressed with my effort here - LOL

This second card used the SFYTT also and CHF's 'Fiery Floral' scrapblock again - the 2 main layers stamped on both sides of a double - sided DP.

All for now - couch is calling my name ever so sweetly.... :)

Fiery Bottle - Red

Hallo,
Short note tonight - work day....
Bottle was made using embossing ink, clear powder and glass etching cream and the 'Fiery Floral' scrapblock from Cornish Heritage Farms. You can find it here - www.cornishheritagefarms.com

This is the bottle that the card from yesterday was made to match.
The tags were done with an embossing resist technique, walnut ink spray and glimmer mist.
