Lacey Outlines

Hallo,
Sunday am and another HOT one here in NW Florida.....I work tonight so will get this up early. I hope to get a bit of crafting time today but we will see....
I did this batch of cards using stamps from Outlines Rubber Stamps for the flower images and the inspiration from the current challenge over at the Outlines blog which is for LACE.
Check out the challenge here - http://www.outlineswithkathy.blogspot.com/
I knew I wanted to paper piece and layer these flowers but choosing papers and combining layers with me always ends up with a big batch of cards because I always want to try every combination :). SO as a result I have 6 cards to show you today.
I stamped these up on 3 different but coordinating DP's and then sat and watched a movie on TV with my DD while I cut them out and played with the layers......saturday afternoon I put them all together and got the cards made - adding a bit of lace trim to each.
Hope you like them - all for me today, see you briefly for a short post tomorrow :)

Tera

P.S. I just remembered that the Outlines challenge calls for ONLY Outlines stamps.....ooops, was so carried away with my flowers that I forgot.....ah well....I won over at Outlines last week anyway :) :) so I can take a week off :)......

Bingo!!!

Ahhh Hallo saturday morning....
Not sure yet what is on the agenda for today but yesterday was a busy one.....another round of school supply shopping (I take the kids seperate, just easier that way even with or maybe more so because they are teenagers...), a last trip to the waterpark for the summer, house work and some crafting time squeezed inbetween....
I did this card for the current challenge over at the House Mouse and Friends blog. The challenge was for ATC's and I used my ATC to make a card. Check out the challenge here -

www.housemouse-challenge.blogspot.com

This cheeky HM stamp is colored with copics. Not sure why I chose the embossed bingo background other than it kinda went with the playful spirit of the stamp......
Well time to get a move on for the day....
Have a great weekend!!!!!

CSS Sketchy Hop

Hallo,

Welcome to another Center Stage Spotlight Alumni (CSS) blog hop.

This time we are using this awesome sketch from Melissa Cash for our challenge.

And speaking of Melissa - It is her Birthday today so we all decided to use her sketch and make her a Birthday card!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Melissa !!!!!!

If you are following along the hop then you came to me from Miesje - www.miesdf.blogspot.com/2011/08/css-sketch-blog-hop-8122011.html and I am sure she wowed you!!!! - If you didn't come along the hop you can always pop back to Stamp TV and start from the begining so you don't miss anything!!!

For my card , I didn't follow the sketch so perfect - every time I tried to add the other elements to this card to match the sketch it just didn't look right, so I left it alone :).

I also used this weeks Monday challenge inspiration photo over at Stamp TV - I just love the red and the teal colors together and liked the look of the horizontal blinds too.....

I used images from Melanies' set - 'Buds and Vases' . The flowers are colored with copics and the vase was stamped and embossed onto vellum and then cut out.

The phrase is from Ninas' set - 'Elegant Post'. I used my scor pal to scor the lines.

I added some yellow dots as accents to pick up the yellow in the inspiration photo too.

Don't forget to stop by everyone on the hop and leave a comment for each of us - Gina is giving away a stamp set on this hop - tuesday am the 16th they will pick one random commenter to receive a free stamp set ($24.95 or less).
Ok that is all for me this evening so I am sending you on to Vicki - www.allidoisstamp.blogspot.com/2011/07/css-hop-gina-k-designs-sketch.html
And I am sure she has something awesome to show you!!!!
Have a great weekend!!!!

Red Zinnia's

Hallo,
Firday am and another busy day ahead - some more pre-school starting errands to do and need to finish cleaning my house....
Well I bet the Zinnia's look familiar.....Since they were still on my desk and I had so much fun coloring them I used them again for the next challenge over at Flourishes. The challenge this time was a simple color challenge - red, green and a neutral - white or tan.
You need to check out the challenges - lots of prizes to win, great new sets to check out and a TON of inspiration!!!! Pop in here - www.flourishes.org/blog/
The stamp of course is from Flourishes and I colored it with copics. It is stamped onto tan cardstock and the die cut - from Spellbinders - is edged with tea dye and I sponged the edges with antique linnen.
Well better get rollin - BTW this is my first post of 2 today, stop back later this evening for more....

Hallo,
Well I was falling asleep on the couch so decided to get this posted quick and head to bed for the evening - slept a bit this am after work and then off to run some errands and then got a bit of time in the pool before some evening thunderboomers rolled in (it was a really good light show too :).
I finished off this card for the challenge over at Phindys Place this week - which is 'anything goes - Phindys image'.
This is of course an image from Phindys colored with prismacolor pencils.

Sweet Mermaid Bright

Hallo,
First sorry for the dark pics - I usually take them outside but it was so hot, muggy and steamy yesterday that my camera lens kept fogging up and after 3 tries I gave up and took them indoors which doesn't have great light.....
This lovely little mermaid is from Sweet Pea Stamps and I have done her up for 2 sepaerate challenges.
First challenge is for Sweet Pea Stampers blog for 'sweet and bright' which of course was soooo easy - sooooo many SWEET images from SPS!!!!! Check out the challenge here - http://www.sweetpeastampschallenge.blogspot.com/
Second challenge is for the latest one over at In A Sweet Pea Dream and that challenge is for ATC's which is also easy as many of the SPS are right at ATC size and perfect to make into a card whe done!!! Check out that challenge here - http://www.inasweetpeadreamchallengeblog.blogspot.com

I colored her with copics and spica glitter pens and then added some beads in a bottle by tulip to the ATC, card and on her tail and earrings too.
All for today - working and sleeping and working again.....
