Hallo,
Another Klimt Kiss for you today - pretty much all the same techniques as yeaterday only I used white embossing powder on the main image instead of black and I added some flourishes to the corners also.
All stamps are from Cherry Pie.
The chalks show up a little better with the white embossing powder....
All for today 0 I be workin'

Dragonfly Kiss
Hallo,
I managed to get some good craft time yesterday - totally blew off the house work I probably should have been doing......ahhh another days build up of dust....
Today my Chief Enabler Pat and I are making a run to Pensacola to go shopping - Hobby Lobby, the JoAnn's superstore and Micheals all in one day :) Hopefully I won't spend too much... :)
Played around some more yesterday with the Klimt style stamp from "Cherry Pie" called 'The Kiss'
This one was done on 5X7 sized watercolor paper - sprayed first with walnut stains - terra cotta and green. Then stamped with distress inks in green, red and walnut.
The main image is stamped and embossed with black. I used a white gel pen to accent the dragonflys and edged the edges with walnut stain ink.
Last I colored in the clothes on the main image with some chalks and then sealed the piece with acrylic sealer.
All for today - I work the next 2 so will have some more Klimt to show you tomorrow and back to some glass etching on thursday. Will try for a little craft time on friday - but will probably have to do some house work and as we have a nice cold front coming down I should have some good yard work weather too.

The Kiss
Hallo,
I had a little time over the weekend to play. We went over to our new neighbors for dinner on saturday evening and as part of a house warming gift I made them a 5X7 picture that could be framed. They are fans of Klimt and have 2 prints hangin in their living room and she said they want to get one of 'The Kiss' next.
This stamp comes from a great company called 'Cherry Pie' and she has several designs dedicated to Klimt including this one - 'The Kiss'
I started with watercolor paper and clear embossed the small swirl. Next I sprayed with several colors of walnut spray and then used some distress inks direct to paper and to do some more stamping - I was just playing and spritzing until I got the colors the way I wanted.
Then when I was happy with the backround I stamped the main image in black memento ink and edged with walnut distress ink.
I had a second version I was working on at the same time and tried to emboss the main image in gold powder but I think the paper wasn't dry enough and it turned out really funky.......and not a good kind of funky :) - ah well, I aim to try again today but I think I will try white detail powder instead.....none of my gold is detail powder and the best of my golds is old and tarnished looking (because I bought a bulk tub and haven't used it as much as I thought) .......
All for now - trying to get an early start to my day off - do my morning tortures (excersise machine) , some house work and hopefully some good craft time before the kiddos get home from school.

Butterfly Believe
Hallo,
A little something for ya today that I have been working on and off and on for about 2 months.
This is a 5x7 canvus that I first started by painting it with gouche paints (halfway between watercolors and acrylics...) and then used gesso on one of my backrounders from Cornish Heritage Farms and stamped it on top - the backrounder is called Fiery Floral and you can find it here - www.cornishheritagefarms.com
Well then I couldn't decide what I wanted to do with it next so it has been sitting on a corner of my desk for a couple months. Last week when I was coloring these butterflys I noticed the colors were similar .....
Then I stamped on the canvus with stamps from Gina K and a butterfly from Stampendous.
I glued the butterfly from Inkadinkado down with gold shimmer mod podge and glued the fragment from Tim Holtz on top. I embossed the words on top of the fragment with copper embossing powder and glued some corners from Tim Holtz to 2 corners.
All for today - Have a great weekend!!!!

Horse Memory book
Hallo,
Quick post today - finished off this memory book for a coworker. Her Granddaughter loves horses.
Stamps include several different companies - Stampin Up, Stamps On Fire, About Art Accents and a couple of the stamps are unknown.
I didn't get as much done around the house as I had planned - but I did finally get my fall/Halloween decorations out and up - (I usually do this the first week of sept. so a little late....)
All for today - will prepost for the next couple days as I work....

Warm Bella Wishes
Hallo,
What a busy day!!!! Excersise, yard work, house work, Mom's school taxi work :).....
Finally got a little time in the craft room and decided it had been way too long since I played along with a CPS sketch. You can find the sketch I used and a bunch of great ideas for it here - www.cardpositioningsystems.blogspot.com
I pulled out some of my Stamping Bella Christmas stamps because I just got this new paper from Basic Grey called Eskimo Kisses (I think) and decided to do a few Christmas cards.
All the layers are cut with my nesabilities in my cuttlebig. The trees are colored with copics. And I added a couple brown rhinestones at the last minute for a little something extra....
All for today - couch be calling me :)
Hope to get some more crafting time tomorrow - have more chores to do too....

Koi Relax
Hallo,
I hope everyone had a good weekend!!! I worked all weekend so now I am off for a couple days - house work, yard work, some crafting, running kiddos around. Both kiddos have had nasty head colds - DD last weekend and DS this weekend - so hopefully we are done with it....
I did this plaque for the 'Terrific Tuesday' challenge over at the Flourishes Blog - http://www.flourishesnewsletter.blogspot.com/
The challenge was to 'mix things up' and once I start to list all the different companies stamps that I used to make this you'll agree that I definatly mixed it up!!! :) and as usual I am getting in just under the wire for this challenge!!!!
All right - stamps list - First are several stamps from 2 of my newest sets from Flourishes - the Koi fish, water lilies, lounge chair, water swirl and palm trees with hammock.
From Cornish Heritage Farms - the palm trees in the backround and the tiny kitten by the chair - both from their 'Scene It ' line.
From Stampin' Up - 2 different grass stamps.
From Stamping Bella - the little cruise ship (I saw and ad in a travel magazine with huge koi fish and a small cruise ship so I had to copy it).
And finally the word is a partial stamp from My Favorite Things.
Do ya think that is 'mixed up' enough for ya? :)
I colored the Koi fish, hammock scene and cruise ship with copics and then colored over them with an embossing pen and embossed them with clear powder.
Then I sponged in blues for the sky and pond and stamped the backround palm trees, grasses, and water swirls. then spongeing some more browns on the risht side and added some highlights with a white gel pen. And lastly edged the panel with gold krylon pen.
The panel with the chair I cut with one of my nesties and then sponged it with blues while still in the die. Then stamped the chair and the kitten and colored them with copics, and highlighted with white gel pen. Then I inked up just the word 'relax' from the phrase and stamped it.
The waterlilies are colored with copics and cut out to layer on top.
Layers are glued down with gold shimmer mod podge which looks really cool IRL but the soft shimmer doesn't pick up very well in my photos. I then edged the plaque with gold krylon.
All for now - got lots of schtuff to do - anyone got any extra energy to spare? :)

Ornamental Impression
Hallo,
Another plaque for you today - preposting - I don't work today but have a ton of errands and maybe some yard work in store today.....and then work the weekend...
This house is from Impression Obsession and colored with my copics - the sky behind it is chalked.
The panel behind the house is a great backrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms called 'Ornamental vines' and is also colored with copics, then yellow backround is chalked and then I stamped over the panel with the weave backrounder. You can find both backrounders and a ton of other great stamps here - http://www.cornishheritagefarms.com/
The phrases are from Papertrey Ink.
All for today - Take Care
See ya after the weekend....

Purple Butterfly plaque
Hallo,
Last of this series of plaques for you - the purple one. I edged the black and whire DP with dark purple and glued all the layers down with gold sparkle mod podge (although you can't see it in the pics very well). Added some corners and fragments from Tim Holtz and a phrase from Gina K.
The butterfly is from Inkadinkado - colored with copics, clear embossed and sponged with light and dark purple and navy. Edged with a dark blue violet copic marker. The flourish is from Cherry Pie.
Preposting and short today as I am at work today :).

Orange Butterfly plaque
Hallo,
Here's plaque Number 2 - This one was done with the orange paper. I edged the DP with navy ink and didn't really like how it looked but made it up while trying to think of a way to 'fix' it.
I used corners and fragments from Tim Holtz, and some copper wire to make the hanger. The butterfly image is from Inkadinkado and colored with copics, clear embossed and then sponged with light purple, dark purple and navy inks, edged with a dark blue violet copic marker. The flourish is from Cherry Pie. I glued all the layers with gold sparkle mod podge. The phrase on the fragments is from Gina K.
The last thing I did on the plaque was stamp the flourish in white staz on on the edges and I liked how that looked much better! (covers up the navy that I got a little heavy on :)).
All for today - errands to run, chores to do and the craft room is calling :)
