A quick one again this am - lots of stuff to try and get done before I head into work this evening....
Just a few pictures to show you - took these pics of my Hubby's Harley and then had some fun playing with them in photoshop and.
decided to frame them up.
The sketchy look of the photos in Black and white look great with a black and white mat and silver chrome frame.
I will be taking this trio to my booth in Panama City at RTA Designs - all handmade store :)
I have a Sweet Pea Stampers post all ready for you for tomorrow as its time for a new challenge so stop back and play along :)

Well after the heat and humidity of yesterday, this morning is so nice and cool and dry - took my puppy for about an hour walk (she's so happy now :)
My DS did well getting his wisdom teeth out yesterday and is still asleep this am so I guess he's not hurting. He's a tough boy!!!
I have another version of the 'Pumpkin Sprite' by Mitzi from Sweet Pea Stamps to show you this am.
I did a purple and green thing with her 'hair' this time :) Colored her with my prismacolor pencils.
Short and sweet again this am - a bunch of errands to run and then hopefully some time in the craft room....

A quick good morning here - my son is getting his wisdom teeth removed today so not sure how the day will roll - he's a tough kiddo so I am sure I will have a good portion of the day for the craft room but thought I would post once in a blue moon here first.
I have been doing a lot of coloring, just hadn't gotten many projects made up until yesterday. And I have been working on my son's locker hook rug for him to take to college with him (in just over 2 weeks - akkkk. but its almost done)
Todays image is from Sweet Pea Stamps called 'Pumpkin Sprite' and I colored her with my prismacolor pencils. Such a cute little sprite - love the 'hair' on this one - perfect 'do' to go with the pumpkin costume :)
After yesterday, I am ready for a bit of fall - typical summer in Florida weather - HOT and HUMID - you would think after about 15 years that I would be used to it by now. :)
Well time to get out the door - Have a great day!!!

One last batch of Christmas trees and my little forest is finished (for now anyhow :)
Today is going to be a project - since I was so mean as to take over my DD's room when she went off to college, I have been quilted into moving my big craft dresser back into my old space (our dining room which is where I moved her bed too but for the couple weeks a year she is here and not at college she wants her bed in a room with a door ) and her bed will be back in my craft room.....I am such a mean old Mom to take her room.....
All for now - better get to it...maybe if we can get it done I can get some craft room time in today too.....

Just a few quick pictures before I head off to work tonight - finished off a few more Christmas trees for my growing little forest - 2 dozen finished and 6 more to go and then I am done.
I am taking these to my booth at the craft market in Panama City next week - the last 2 weeks of July a lot of the venders got together and decided to do a Christmas in July thing - should be fun!!!
Have a great night!!!

A quick stop in to show you the new trees I have added to my little tree farm - 4 finished off today and base coats added to 7 more - and while rummaging around in my craft room I found 5 more candle sticks today.....I will have a good sized forest before I am done :)
Candle sticks and /or small vase - Styrofoam triangles - matte medium (fancy modge podge - but it does try faster and with no tachy feeling that MP sometimes leaves...) and lots of ribbon and trim from my stash :) - oh and lots of hot glue too....
Have a great weekend!!!

I am preposting for you today as I am working the last couple days and we always seem to be really busy on a holiday ....
Our new challenge over at Sweet Pea Stampers blog is one for the Men or boys and what's better for the male types than pirates and ships :)
I used 3 different stamps from Sweet Pea Stamps for this hanging plaque.
First the pirate is called 'Ancient one' and the ship is of course the 'Black Pearl' both by Joanne Schempp, and the mermaid is a portion of a stamp by Elaine Cox called 'Mermaid #2.
I colored the pirate with prismacolor pencils and then coated him with a sepia toned lacquer from Ranger.
The Mermaid was also colored with prismacolors and then cut to fit this old pendant I had in my stash. Coated her with a clear coat of crystal lacquer.
The ship is stamped and embossed in black ink onto some DP of an old world map.
I used my computer to write out the phrase and printed it out onto vellum paper.
I really like how this one turned out - so my question is - Is the Pirate's lady his ship or the mermaid? :)
All for today - have a great weekend!!!

I am having fun making these but not getting to the craft room today - I got caught up doing a bunch of yard work and am having to fight droopy eyelids to get this written up for you so I guess its time for my pre-work nap......
Have a great weekend - I work tonight and tomorrow night and then the rest of the weekend off :)....My DD leaves Montenegro Saturday am (her time) and will be back stateside very early Monday am and back home here Wednesday afternoon :)
