Treasured Memory

 Hallo,
A short post today to show you a sympathy card I made for our Neighbor/Friend who just lost his Father.
I used a stamp from 'Stamps Happen' that I stamped onto watercolor paper and water colored with Koh-I-Noor watercolors. I attached that image to a beautiful black shimmery cardstock from Paper Temptress called onyx metallic (you can see it better in the last photo).
I used a vellum overlay - also from Paper Temptress and stamped/embossed a phrase from Prickley Pear in gold. I edged the top of the vellum with gold metallic pen as well as the corner with the pretty flourish on it - which is also from Paper Temptress.
All for today - trying to finish off some projects in the craft room today....

Spring Basket

Hallo,
A cute little card today using some great papers from 'Paper Temptress' and a sweet digi from 'All Dressed Up'
I used 'cryogen white' for the digi and colored her with prismacolor and polychrome pencils.
I used cardstock from the 'pop tones' line over at Paper temptress and some sweet PT ribbon too.
I used a pretty stick on 'button' from my stash on the ribbon, some gold corner stickers and some flat backed pearls too.
All for today - Take Care

Hummingbird colored markers

Hallo,
Welcome to Wednesday - a bit over hump day for me as I have Friday off this week!!!
Another version of the hummingbird from the 'Tangled Easy" book by Ben Kwok.
I copied the original page from the book onto the 'cryogen white' cardstock from Paper Temptress - which is my favorite paper for coloring and copics and is a great paper for copying the book pages to also.
On this one I used 005 colored microns to tangle the hummingbird.
I just love how all my hummingbirds turned out - now I just need to get them framed pretty.
Have a great day - off to work again, and again, and again.....  :)

Hummingbird Colored pencil

Hallo,
Well Hummingbird part 2 - the colored version.
This is the same hummingbird as yesterday only I colored it (after copying onto a sheet of 'cryogen white') with polychrome colored pencils.
The hummingbird starts out as an outline  and comes from a book by Ben Kwok called 'Tangled Easy - Birds". I copied the book sheet onto cryogen white cardstock (my favorite for copics, coloring and in this case micron pens) and then I tangled it using a 005 micron pen - after which I copied it again so I could color it and still have my black and white version.
I have one more version for you tomorrow again so come on back :)

Zentangle Hummingbird - black and white

Hallo,
Just a quick stop in here this am to start the week.
This humming bird started out as the outline drawing of the hummingbird from a book by Be Kwok - 'Tangle Easy" - Birds.
I tangled this one using 005 micron pens. I used 'cryogen white' cardstock from 'Paper Temptress' which is my all time favorite cardstock for coloring and copics.
I took the book page from 'Tangle Easy' and copied it onto the cryogen white. I copied it again once I tangled it and colored it using polychrome pencils - stayed tuned tomorrow :)
All for now - gotta head off to that work thang :)

Sunny Day

Hallo,
Oh boy - a ton of stuff to do today and am already getting a late start but my poor little blog has been neglected long enough!!!
This sweet little card was done for the current challenge over at All Dressed Up - http://alldressedupchallenges.blogspot.co.uk/
I used a sweet little digi called 'Spring time' and I colored her with prismacolor pencils.
The papers I used are from my all time favorite paper (and other goodies) site called "Paper Temptress".
For the base cardstock I used a sheet from the mettalics line called 'rosequartz' and it is so shimmery - unfortunately it doesn't show well in photos.
For the image panel I used my all time favorite coloring paper - cryogen white. I used a gold metallic pen to edge the panel and some cool stickers and lastly a great trim I found on a really good sale with the sweetest buttons on it....
Alrighty - time for me to get my running shoes on.....
    Have a great day!!!!
