Bumble bees baby

 Hallo,
A short stop here today - the pups took me for a walk after work and I was going to do yard work but it looks like it is starting to rain so I guess that means housework instead (pout - hate housework...)
I finished off this baby box  for a customer from my Etsy shop this weekend. The Momma to be has chosen bees and sunflowers to decorate her baby room with yellows and blacks for colors.
The flowers with the bees is a stamp set from Flourishes and the Momma with baby is a digi from Conie Fong.
I colored them all with prismacolor and polychrome pencils and then decorated an old cigar box. I made a chipboard book to match that is 5by7 inches and a matching card too. I used cryogen white for the images and the black layer is a sweet textured cardstock - both from Paper Temptress.
Now I need to get it boxed up to send tomorrow and try to find some house cleaning energy....

Tangle 3

Hallo,
Here is #3 of 4 in this series of zentangles!!!
And guess what - IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!
My hubby is out of town for the weekend (pout) but my son will be here :) and we are celebrating 1 year at the Gallery tomorrow with refreshments and some art demo's.
And just my luck that everything happens on the same weekend - my son and my non-blood sons are running the 'Tough Mudder' tomorrow too - I am sure someone will have pictures but it would be fun to be there to watch!!!
   Have a great weekend!!!!

Tangle 1

Hallo,
I finally got around to framing out these black and white zentangles this weekend too.
The tangle is 6 by 6 inches and the frames are 8 by 8 inches. I used black matt board and edged it with a gold metallic pen.
I have 4 in this series with a random string.
All for today - workin, workin, workin....

Tangled Hummingbirds - framed

Hallo,
Up and at it early as usual, headed off to work but will show you how nicely these hummingbirds framed up first.
I have shown you these before but this last weekend I finally got them framed - black frames and mounted onto black mounting board and then pages outlined with gold metallic pen.
I like the totally black and white one and the totally colored ones the best but like the one I did with colored markers too. Now to find a special spot for them.
All for now - Take Care

Tangled giraffe - framed

Hallo,
I will have a few more posts than usual this week, I spent a bunch of time this weekend getting some things framed and ready to hang (now to find the space!!!)
First on the list are 2 giraffe zentangles. I used the 2 giraffes from one of  Ben Kwok's Tangle Easy books, tangled them up and then colored them.
I edged the edges with gold metallic pen and layered them onto brown matt board and in brown frames.
I like how they turned out .
Such pretty spring weather today - pups took me for a long walk and then I wrote out some bills .....I just hope I can sleep tonight!!!!! I don't sleep well anyhow but this weekend was a killer.....

Swing into spring with Eliza

 Hallo,
Stopping in this fine spring morning with a card I made using a digi from Sabrina at Nara's Creations ( www.nara-creations.blogspot.com ) - You can purchase Eliza from her Etsy shop here - https://www.etsy.com/shop/NarasCrafts?ref=em
This is Sabrina's first digi for sale and I  hope to see a few more soon!!! :)
I colored her with prismacolor and polychrome pencils.
I used a bunch of yummy papers from Paper Temptress too - starting with as always the cryogen white for the image and coloring. Next is 'jelly bean green' and the base is made out of  'solar white columns' . The solar white is also great coloring paper but the columns has great texture built right in!!!
I made her a little necklace to match her dress and added a ribbon on one side and she is ready to go.
Another pretty, sunny, a bit cool in the mornings but warm in the afternoon spring day here in NW Florida - the pups have taken us for our morning walk and after breakfast I may try some yard work....my knees and hips don't even like the IDEA of yard work but my yard is a mess and I would rather do yard work than house work any day (although I may end up doing a bit of both...)
Better get a move on before my knees talk me out of the yard work :)
    Have a great day!!!

Coral and green

 Hallo,
Stopping in today with a sweet little card.
The main image is from 'Stamping Boutique' - called 'Rose' and I colored her with prismacolor and polychrome pencils.
I edged the main panel with gold metallic pen and used some gold corners too, added a pretty lace and pearl flower in one corner and some clear flowers with a pearly button in another corner.
The paper for the main image is of course 'cryogen white' and the green is 'jelly bean green' both from Paper Temptress.

Other than walking the pups, and my stretches and a nap - I really didn't get much done today. Ran out for a bit to Stone Soup because I had a class schedule for me to teach but didn't have any students so I just hung around  there for a bit and then stopped by the gallery to drop stuff off in my studio.....did get hooks and wires on a few art pieces and one card made but that was it - such a pretty day too(that's how the pups talked me into another short walk this afternoon - we went for an hour this morning...)
   Have a great weekend!!!
