Second painting in my 'Mars Rising Series' - with a long tittle.
"Mars Desolated/The loss of Biodiversity'
Encaustic mixed media with computer boards, rusted metal and shellac. The sides are finished in black. The wood panel it is painted on is 20 wide by 16 tall but a couple of the computer boards stick up off the board making it about 18 inches tall.
Lots of fun texture and earthy colors, these have been fun paintings for me to do. This one is currently in Pensacola at Artel gallery for their current show but will soon be up on my Etsy site.
