Back with more baskets to show you over the next couple days. I am really looking forward to this fall when I can have more time to get in my studio to paint!!! (the retirement countdown is in full swing!!)
The base for this basket is a vintage hand painted plate. The basket measures 11 inches round and 4 inches tall and took me around 15 /16 hours to make.
I have been making so many baskets lately that my shoulders are starting to protest a bit with all the repetitive movements...... I should probably take a bit of a break but I have sooooo MANY pretty plates!!!!!

This one might make a great Father's Day gift - a place for his keys and other content of the pockets that seem to get spread all over the kitchen counter...... :)
