NYC

 Alrighty, another ton of pics - for our road trip in sept., we went from Gettysburg area up to NYC to visit my son. First couple days in the area was wet and rainy thanks to a N'easter.

  We started out stay taking in a Nebraska football game at the Husker bar in midtown Manhattan area which is always fun!!!

  We bummed around the Met, went to the Intrepid, and the 911 Memorial, took one day and drove up the Hudson to Fort Montgomery (bummer for us is that the most scenic parts of the drive were closed thanks to storm damage) . We had dinner one evening at Pio Pio 8 - I LOVE the ceviche!!! And the stuffed pepper was yummy too. We had lunch one day in China town, desert in Little Italy(gelato and cannoli) and even went to a few art galleries in SOHO.

  We did a ton of walking and even managed to commute from the Jersey side to midtown every day without incident, but my son makes a pretty great tour guide also!!! Living in NYC would defiantly take some getting used to  - so busy, noisy and crowded - it would be fun for awhile as there is alot I would like to do!!!

     We stopped back in Columbia SC on our way back to Florida for some more Grandbaby time. 

After a bit over 2 weeks away, we were glad to be back home. My pups were glad too - the big city was a bit over the top for them I think!!!
