Bombshell Firefighter

Hallo,
Trying to get an early start today but getting trapped in the computer.....was headed out for my usual am walk with my pooch but he wasnot feeling up to it (he is an old boy and has occasional problems with his back - so got him some pain pills and started another round of steroids for him - let him sit on my feet while I played on the computer till the pain pills kicked in for him.....he really is an outside dog and prefers being outside unless he is hurting or there is a thunderstorm....so once he felt better he wanted back outside and now it is already too hot for a walk....besides I am going to the gym with DD after school today......).
I did this card awhile back for my DH - The main image is a stamp from Bombshell stamps and her outfit is a digital made to match the stamp set. I still need to play with those some more - the outfits are soooo cute!!!! Check them out here - www.bombshellstamps.com

She is colored with copics and mounted to some BG paper - guy style (aka not much for embellishments....)
Well better get a movin' - chores to do....

Dream

Hallo,
And a good Saturday morning to you!!!
I finished this card yesterday and must admit I was tickled pink with how it turned out!!! I imagined the little guy pretending his trike was a big ol' Harley like my DS used to do.....
Little guy is an image from Mo's Digital pencil - colored with copics and cut out using a Spellbinders die and 'out-of-the-box' technique from Technique Junkies.
I then masked the little guy and stamped the motorcycle in grey ink over the mask. Motorcycle is from 'Bombshell Stamps'.

The backround is stamped with 'diamond plate' backrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms using weathered wood distress powder. I also used the distress powder on the edges of the Spellbinders frame.
The phrase is a partial stamp from 'Stampland' also embossed with the distress powder and framed with a pewter tone frame from JoAnn's.
My DH even liked this card!!!!!
My DH and DS went out fishin' this am and won't be back till late this afternoon, my DD and a friend of hers want to go to a movie so my big debate is whether to go see the movie with them (as it is one I would like to see) or stay home and play at the craft table - what a choice - I love to see movies at a theater but its a bit expensive lately and Netflicks will have it in a couple months, and I would really love some more time at the craft table!!!!

I am thinking craft table......maybe.....
At least I don't have to go to work!!!!! :) :)
All for now - pooch is waiting not so patiently for a walk - I amy have a second post for you today - family pics if I get some time to get them edited....

Hallo,
Preposting today as I am at work - couldn't resist doing another bombshell card, only this time with black space instead of white space.
Colored her with copics and red spica glitter pen.
All for today....

Bombshell Valentine

Hallo,
A quick little post tonight as I need to get dinner started.....
I almost have the invitations for my Mom done - will sit on the couch tonight and finish putting them together.
I had time to make a couple things to show you over the next couple days but not enough time to get good daylight for pics, so these were taken inside and therefore a bit dark....
This stamp is from Bombshell stamps - have had her a couple months and finally getting her inky.
The friday challenge over at Flourishes was 'white space' and I am trying to get a jump on Valentines Day.....and I had this beautiful red ribbon that I was dying to use.
To see what the Flourishes team did with their white space - pop in here - www.flourishesnewsletter.blogspot.com
I colored her with copics and then went over the red areas with a red spica glitter pen.

All for tonight - I have to work the next 2 days so unless I am lucky on thursday and steal some crafting time I may not get back here until after Christmas - so just in case....
Have a very Blessed Christmas!!!!
