Sketchy Blog Hoppin'

Hallo and Welcome to another Gina K CSS blog hop!!!!!
It was dicey whether I was going to make it tonight....My computer went cafunk on Monday and I lost all my files.....thought Iwas looseing my hard drive(either that or someone hijacked my computer) and I have been fighting it all week trying to find and save files - did my cards and loaded them to DH's computer so I could get them here tonight....turns out someone hijacked my computer after all - good news is all my family photos and blog files are safe, hate the fact that someone had acsess to all of my laptop but the good thing that there isn't anything finacial on it, I don't even do any online banking which is a good thing in this case.
All right now that I made it here and my computer is being debugged LET'S HOP !!!!
If you want to start at the begining of the hop, go here - www.stamptv.ning.com
If you are following along then you came to me from Sue Morris's blog - http://suessentiments.com/wordpress/?p=5271 where I am sure she had some great stuff to show you!!!
I am the last in line again but be sure to leave comments along the way because Gina is giving away a FREE STAMP SET to one lucky commenter!!!
For our blog hop this time we are using a sketch from the fabulous Melissa Cash who is snowbound and without power as I type (for the last SEVERAL days in fact - akkkk) so send her some warm thoughts and electrical wishes tonight!!!!
I am also using the newest color spotlight challenge colors - which really was a challenge for me!!!!!
In amonst computer woes and a sick old meow (who is feeling much better BTW - just a 2 day slump I guess...she is 20 years old and rather frail these days....) I managed to get 3 cards done :) I must have needed the stress relief :)

My first 2 cards use the 'Sew Pretty' set.
I paper pieced the aprons and colored the rest of her with copics. I am not too sure about my darker skin tones....I don't do them often but have been trying to every now and then.
My last card uses the 'Mugs and Kisses' set along with an older set called 'Friends are Forever"
I did turn the sketch vertical for all 3 cards...tried to do one horizantal and I couldn't get it to look right so reowrked it.....
Well that's about it for tonight - going to see about getting some dinner ready and relax with my copics and pencils on the couch. I have a full day of planting and yard work planned for tomorrow - made my first trip to Lowes for the season and true to form am working on my first 'planting frenzy' (I don't garden so much as have big planting sprees - hence the 'panting frenzy')
I am planning on limiting myself to just one round this year because we have a busy summer planned and I have a hard enough time keeping up with the weeds here in the hot/humid/Florida summers....
....a bit talkative tonight aren't I ... :)
Take Care
Tera

Love the sewing theme most of all! The other two are great, but I'm into sewing lately (not the needle and thread kind LOL). Sorry about your computer woes - what a scary experience!
