Hollyhocks

Hallo,
Well its been a busy week here for me - Tuesday night was County Awards night (for Seniors) and then I worked wednesday and thursday nights.
I got home this morning and was very tired, took puppy for a short walk and crawled gladly into my bed and sighed in content....and then could not get to sleep. Now this is very rare for me but I tried every trick I knew and just couldnot get to sleep, so I had some errands that neded running anyhow(there always is) so I got up and headed out the door. I learned a very good lesson today - going to JoAnn's and A.C. Moore on lack of sleep is for me kinda like going to the grocery store hungry....Akkkk
My DH says I am one bead and one piece of cardstock away from my own season of 'Hoarders' (me I say only an episode, not a whole season... LOL )
Ah well - todays card is for the current Tuesday challenge over at Flourishes - and this time its a birthday centered challenge - my Birthday is in October so according to the list I am to use 2 flowers and something clear.Check out the challenge here - www.flourishes.org/blog/
The stamp I used is fromn Flourishes of course and is colored with prismacolor pencils. I cut the main image out with a Spellbinders die and the half moon die behind it in dark purple (not showing up as good as I thought it would....sigh) is a die from Heartfelt Creations.
I used 2 clear flowers and 2 foam flowers with rhinestone centers for my flowers.
All for this evening - going to sit on my couch and color - I have 2 other challenges to finish and graduation cards to make this weekend (thats my goal anyhow...)
    Take Care

Hi Tera. I do enjoy your blog and can especially relate to your "hoarding"....your DH's comment made me laugh! As another October baby, I love your version of this weeks challenge.
