Summer Sunset

Hallo,
Friday afternoon and I am trying to stay awake long enough to get this posted for ya'll - not sure why I am so tired today but since I have to work tonight, I would need a nap anyway.....
I did this for this weeks challenge over at the Outlines blog for 'summer' and I believe I got it rightr this time (last week I made 6 cards but forgot that we can use ONLY Outlines stamps so didn't make the challenge....)
I colored up parts of the Southwest collage stamp with copics and layered them to green DP that I ran through my cuttlebug and then lightly swiped with peeled paint distress ink.

Spoiled Kitty Cat

Hallo,
2 posts in one day - WOW - but I couldn't wait to show you this silly little cat bed that I made.
I had found this roundish barbie suitcase at a garage sale and decided it needed to be a cat bed - since it seems all cats love to get inside boxes and mine especially love suitcases.
This one however will go to my Etsy shop - my 2 young brats are waaayyy to big for this bed (porkers) and my sweey old meow has slept by my pillow for the last 20 years so thats not going to change anytime soon (I hope...).
I first covered the box with black coredinations paper that I used a dotted texture folder on and sanded off to show pink dots.
The images are from an Outlines Rubber Stamp - collage image, stamped several times and colored with copics. I then cut the colored stamped images apart and used then to decorate the top, sides and inside of the box.
The first picture is the top - at the bottom of the photo you can see the bracket with velcro I added to hold the lid open (that way it can be closed for shipping, storage or travel as needed).
The second pic is a close-up of the lid and the third shows the inside of the case.
I lined the bottom of the case with gray fur material and added some of the black/pink dotted paper around the inside of the lid and a couple decorations near the mirror.
I also added some rhinestone hearts in pink to the mirror.
I left the mesh pouch on the inside of the lid to hold kitty treats or toys :) And added a pink tassle (last picture) for kitty to play with too.
I added little 'feet' to the bottom of the box by using some drawer pulls so it sits up a little bit.
I am tickled pink :) with how this turned out - I will be adding it to my Etsy shop later this afternoon when I get up.

Outlines Christmas

Hallo,


I am going to prepost this for thursday this week - I have several bigger projects that I have been trying to get done in the craft room and so I hope to be working on them.


I have a barbie suitcase that I am redoing to use as a fancy foo-foo cat bed and a recovered briefcase to finally finish - several other projects are half done also but I think I will be lucky to get the first 2 mentioned finished.....

I colored the wisemen stamp with copic markers and spica glitter pens, then added some viva decor pearls (liquid type pearls) inthe corners of the design.

All for today - stampin to do :) (and yard work, and house work, and a trip to the gym......ahhh well, I will get some stampin time anyhow.)

Outlines Lady Bug

Hallo,
I finally got back in my craft room today after almost 3 weeks!!!! Yippeee!!!
The final colors for this card did not turn out like I had envisioned....all went as planned until I tried to decide what to color the backround. I tried all my yellows but none looked right - you think with over 150 colors of markers I could find a color I liked!!!
Well since the yellows didn't work I tried 2 shades of peach and it looked cool. Then I put the layer on top of some peach paper and decided to go with it.
