Brick Kritters

Hallo,
This was a busy day for me as the kiddos had alot of acivities to run them back and forth to today.
I used a Technique Junkies technique called cuttlebug stamps for the backround on this card - it involves using a texture folder (in this case a Tim Holtz folder) to make a stamp with fun foam. Best thing about this technique is you can get 2 different looks depending on what side of the folder you use!! I stamped the brick with memento gray and colored it with prismacolor pencils.
I stamped the main image before the backround and masking it - it comes from Cornish Heritage Farms - Friendly Kritters line that is being featured for this week during 'Summer Fling'. Colored with copics and the bird and the mouse I stamped onto scrap paper and layered layers on top - mouse has one layer on top, bird has 2.
Stamped some foilage from another CHF set in distress inks on the left side of the card and the phrase is from 'Friend Centers'.
Raining alot here today.....
Whooops I am also using this card for a challenge over at Copic Creations - this times challenge is for 'birds' - this is a great challenge blog for those of us crazy about out copic markers and a great place to learn how to use them because they include links for each challenge to demonstrate different techniques. Look here for all the great inspiration - www.copiccreations.wordpress.com
All for today - Take Care
Tera

Fabulous card, love the brick wall, that's something new I'll have to try sometime. That image is so adorable and such great colouring and layering.
Thanks so much for playing along with us at Copic Creations.
hugs Heather xx
