Springy yellow and blue

 Hallo,
   Welcome to Monday everyone!!!
Just a quick card for you today for the first release challenge for March over at Flourishes. The challenge was to use blues and yellow.
Check out the challenge here - www.flourishes.org/blog/ - play along and you could win this months entire release!!!
I used the cherry blossum stamp and took some liberties with the color of the blossums - we can pretend they are really a differnt type of flower :)
I colored the main image with koh-i-noor pencils and then smoothed out the background a bit with OMS.
I cut out the main image with a Spellbinders die and edged it with a gold mettalic pen - layered it to some yellow DP from my scrap bin and added a blue with yellow ribbon and some blue micro beads in a thin strip on either side of the ribbon.
Lastly I added some blue pearl dots with a fabric pen from tulip.
All for me today as I need to get ready to go to work - Take Care

Tera -- what a fun take on this color inspiration. The blue back drop makes those yellow flowers just pop!!! Thanks for joining in the Flourishes fun!
