Hallo,Since I have a little time before the kids get home from school - I thought I would try out the new option here on blogger to preschedule posts - since I work all weekend (12 hr. shifts).
This card is kinda an explosion of the Pretty pattern backrounder from CHF http://cornishheritagefarms.com/
The Brown layer is 'pretty pattern' using 'walnut stain technique from Technique Junkies. The blue layer is teal staz on, the ribbon is a teal ribbon stamped with pretty pattern in chocolate chip ink (got a little smudged but I didn't have much left of the right color ribbon to match the card :( ). The flowers were estate sale finds and were stamped with midnight blue stazon for the bottom layer and teal staz on for the top. The center is a flower shaped copper brad and then there are 3 square copper brads in the corner. Happy Mother's Day was stamped in midnight blue satz on and outlined with a teal gel pen. The base cardstock is a chocolate brown.
