Tailormade

Hallo,
Well its another beautiful day in NW Florida - too bad I needed to sleep half of it away....but after my little chat with you today I am off to run some errands and then hopefully a walk before it gets dark.
I started this card yesterday and am finishing just in time for the Timeless Tuesday challenge over at Flourishes - www.flourishes.org/blog/
The challenge this time was a a sketch from the very talented Silke. I followed the sketch pretty close - except I added the little tag (can you see why - I goofed on the phrase so I stamped it again and cut it out as a tag and layered it over the top :). I wish I would have had cardstock to match for the base layer - course now that I am typeing and its too late to retake pics in time for the challenge I can see that all I needed to do was edge the base cardstock with the same copic I used to color the ribbon and string (both of which were white.....) DUH - wish I would have thought of that 15 minutes ago.....
Anyway the images were stamped and colored with copics onto cryogen white and then stamped again on the dress pattern DP, I fussy cut them out and layered them over the top.
I added some pearl drops with a viva decor pen to the necklaces, the shoes and some corners.
Alright - time to get this linked and get my errands done - the DH and I are looking at getting a new mattress so thats my first errand - Does anyone have one of those tempurpedic matresses? If so do you like it? Going to look at one of those....
Take Care
Tera

Ooooo, I love this card! That's a fab dp, and your coloring on the images is awesome. Nice save on the booboo. I have to do stuff like that all the time. On the mattress--we have the kind you were asking about. My husband's back was hurting with a regular mattress. This one works great for him, but for me, I now wake up with a backache every single morning. I often sleep on the couch now just so my back won't hurt. I like regular mattresses much better, but my DH would say just the opposite. Good luck!
