GKD CSS October blog hop

 Hallo,
Welcome to the October Gina K Designs blog hop. This time we are using a sketch from Melissa for our hop. I turned it around a bit and did a couple Christmas cards.
I am the last stop on todays hop so you probalbly came to me from the very talented Sue -
http://qvande.blogspot.com/2012/10/css-alumni-blog-hop.html
Make sure to leave lots of comments along the way as we are giving away a large grab bag of Gina K stamps from the comments - on tuesday morning.
I used stamps from Gina K's 'Winter Mittens' and stamped the mitten onto DP and used matching DP  from the same pad. And of course I couldn't decide which color to use so I had to do 2 but that just means I have 2 more Christmas cards in my stash :).
All for today - posting this a bit early for the hop as my DS and I are going out to eat for super (DD and DH are out of town and its my Birthday today :).
  Take Care
      Tera

Tera, these are so cute! Love how you used the mitten instead of the oval, way to make this sketch your own.

I love that you used ribbon to get the striped effect from the sketch. That was very clever. Your card is so pretty.

Oh wait, is that patterned paper? I thought it was ribbon, but now I'm not sure...lol

Well, first of all, happy birthday my dear. You don't look any older. And secondly, I love your two cards. Both non-traditional, both very vintage looking. And both very sweet. Great use of that stamp too!!
